I've been using my 2006 Stratocaster to play at my church band and someone stole my guitar along with GNX3 pedal.

So, just like that...

My dream has been stolen from me...

I just had to tell somebody about it...

Thanks for reading...

Brien

Someone stole it from the church?!?!? Can't get any lower than that on the "human scum scale".

So sorry to hear that! :(

I am very sorry to hear about your loss.
I can relate because I had my 89 amer strat stolen back in 94.
I still soarly miss that strat to this day.
I still have the original rosewood neck to it.
(It had a custom neck i put on it when it was stolen)

I always hope to somehow find it if for no other reason
but to match it back up with its' original neck & pickups.

I'm not a trusting person.......I don't think I'd leave my guitar anywhere, but my house.

Wow, that really is LOW!

Depending on the kind of church you attend you need the priest/vicar/preacher to give a really hellfire sermon next Sunday and utterly shame the culprit into putting it back. Otherwise, that louse ain't getting past the Pearly Gates...

Cheers - C

So sorry to hear about this.

... can't imagine though that the one responsible is 'enjoying' it when playing or 'feeling good' about the money he got for it. But who am I,.. I surely would not but there seem to be different 'types' of people in this world...

Still, it's a shame.

Take care!
Marc

Would not want to be in his shoes as life is short but eternity is forever! Like they say in so many of the worlds religions. To simpify it "What goes around comes around!" And don't forget "Instant Karma" will get you. Sorry for your loss. :(

It just goes to show ya...

Even in a church you need to make sure someone is watching the stage.

Sorry to hear about that my friend. I'm sure for 3 things :

1.He's gonna for sure loose sth he loves as much as you loved her.

2.He's gonna rot in hell !!!

3.Your beauty knows she's stolen and she's never gonna play for him as she played for you...

I really hope you'll find her again.Greetings from Greece !!!

I can't imagine what it feels like to have something that you played and loved stolen like that. It doesn't matter how much it's worth to someone else, it'll never be as worthy as it was to you. ANd a true musician couldn't've stolen it. It must be some pathetic excuse for a guitar player (they don't find the best in their own guitars or themselves) or somene who just wanted money.

If the same thing happened to me, i don't know what i would do. Even though i only have a 100 dollar dtrat, it means something to me, especially since i've already bonded with it.

You can replace what you owned, but you can't do the same with the love for what you owned. Especially since it is a couple of years old.

Someone would have to be real low to steal from a church. SHows how much devotion people have towards their guitars. So much to the point that some name them and call them a 'her.'

You never actually said it was stolen from the Church, But if it was,, Talk to the Church's insurance com. about reinbursment. Most Church's are covered. It wont get yer baby back but at least you can get another and try to bond. Good luck Brien.
