Hello all,
I am informing everyone that I am now a proud owner of my second Strat! :D It is a classic player 50's sunburst. Wow, I sure do like the looks, and the playability of it. There are a few tweaks that I am going to do to it like putting on some strap locks, minor setup tweaks, etc. My first strat is a MIJ placid blue standard that has a maple neck. This guitar has also been a good one.

I know when I had an ESP guitar the Shaller screws were bigger and I had to force 'em in to make the threads bigger. The guy at the dealer just said take those and take the ones out of the guitar and put the Shaller screws in but they were a little bigger than the ones that the guitar came with but they did go in.

Why are you suppose to use the screws with the Shaller locks or are you suppose to use the same ones that your guitar came with?

Here are all three of my guitars. The purple one is a Kramer Striker 600ST that I bought new in '87. There are no strings on it because I was in the middle of a string change. :)

Yeah, at the time I bought the Kramer I was a kid so I didn't know any better. But it's been with me for so long now it's kinda hard to part with it. But I may sell it to some kid that wants to start out. It would be decent enough for that. There are some quirks that I don't like about it. It doesn't even come close to my strats.
