The "4" after 'Z' suggests 2004...and I know they offered HSS however, I don't know about if the Seymour Duncan was stock in an American Strat.
Someone will be along that knows for sure.

As the trem cover isn't original, the tuners have been changed and the plastics don't match, what ever it might have been when it left the factory it isn't now.

I would also anticipate the PUP's are retrofitted.

So you might have an original MiA neck, body and trem the rest after that is anybody's guess.

It might be a good guitar, the previous owner was obviously a bit of an enthusiast to have carried out the mods. Or, the humbucker installation might have been a job of butchery and the soldering carried out by a kid with a blow torch.

If it was cheap, as in the value of the neck plus a bit more, I would consider it as a project, otherwise I'd walk away as it could be an absolute can of worms.

This appears to be a modified 2004 American Series Stratocaster. It's likely not fake, but definitely not in original condition, and in my opinion, worth closer to $500.

The serial number matches up to model 0117402700 - which would have been a body with a 3-Color Sunburst finish (which yours has). The saddles appear to be original. It's obvious that the pickups are not original. This guitar would have come stock with three Fender single-coil pickups, and the pickguard should be three-ply parchment. The tuners have been changed (upgraded actually) from stock Schallers to Fender locking types. The wrong photo in the Fender database isn't terribly unusual - and sometimes there's no photo at all.
