Hey - I’m setting up this Strat. It was given to my client. They know nothing about it. There is no country location on it or no serial number.

Does anyone know anything about it?

TIA

Hi there you will need to post a lot more pics preferably on the forum.
The fake fender decals are a dime a dozen on ebay so a fender decal does not equate to a genuine fender strat. The one you've pictured was on the 66 and clearly yours isn't so at this stage I am going with partscaster :D

It hasn't seen the inside of a Fender factory.

I know it is an unpleasant fake and not worth sending good money after bad.

I am impressed that the "Luthier" doesn't even have sufficient skill to install a string tree without ripping the head. The preparation of the head stock is horrible, real Fenders have the edges evenly arrised with no chunks out of the grain in the shaping, and the logo is obviously a dot matrix printer fake.

And the cheap butterfly trees aren't Fender either.
