I’m new to the forum and solely registered for this question. I have a 50th anniversary Strat that had previously installed Seymour Everything Axe Pick Ups. When switching between pick ups (except the neck pick up) it makes like a high frequency buzz or whine almost. I just bought a vintage 71 Deluxe Reverb amp and the amp makes it more pronounced than my old Crate V30. Will noiseless pickups take care of this issue? I know it’s hard to say but I’m sure people have had experience with this. Thanks so much.

Joe

I’m replying to my own post here...I know the sound won’t ever be 100% resolved with a Strat. Just curious how much the noiseless pick ups will take 60 hz hum down.

Check your work, something is wrong . Wiring or / and solder.
Any pickups should not make the noise you hear.

Sounds like a wiring fault.
Have you asked on the SD forum?
There are loads of wiring diagrams in the support section.

As stratele52 says, post a pic of the wiring.
