Now I have a set of Noiseless N3 sensors installed on my stratocatser.

I want to change them for Shawbucker and Noiseless 4th gen.

1. Which version of shawbaker is preferable to use with Neussless n3 / n4.
2. What additional parts do I need to buy — potentiometers, anything else?

I find only one type of ShawnBucker.
Where do you see differents versions ?

Need 500k volume pot for humbucker pickups
Noiseless will sound more bright with a 500 K than with a 250 k pot.
Humbucker will loose brightness with 250 K

Look a 500 k is the best of both world,

The Fender Noiseless is a humbucker, and gets along with 500k just fine.
Some models using the Hot Noiseless ship from Fender with 1meg.

OP may already have 500k pots.

Why Fender use 250 K pots ?

It depends on the model.
Seems that Fender is all over the map on these, but they have used 250k, 500k, and 1meg from the factory on guitars that came with various generations of Noiseless.
I'm using 250k on my Tele with Vintage Noiseless and they sound good, but might be a touch on the dark side. I have the Baja wiring, and putting the bridge and neck in series, it gets a good AC/DC tone.
The Gen4 have DC resistance at 10.3k. That's hotter than many humbuckers.

Vintage Noiseless calls for 500k volume and 1meg tone.

I really think 500k will be fine for the Gen4.

The HSS American Elite Strat with N4 and Shawbucker 1 uses 250kOhm pots.

The Shawbucker 1 page at the Fender Shop site says 500kOhm. Go figure :o

It's higher than some humbuckers, but DCR alone does not tell the full story.

If you are replacing the rig maybe just buy a pre loved loaded pickguard which might give additional features like the S1. No hard rules about the pot value and the fender n4 diagram doesn't seem to show the value of the vol ctl. Some also use a dual value vol ctl. 500k for the shawbucker and 250k for the noiseless. :D
