I own an American strat VG with the Roland pick up circa 2007 ( I was young and wasn’t the one paying).
Long story short I’ve never had any issues and love this guitar but I haven’t played it in a long long time and I picked it back up recently and appear to have misplaced the battery pack out of the back (face palm). Now I know this model has been discontinued as has the battery pack that Roland released. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Failing that, has anyone taken the Roland pick up out and used it as a normal strat? does that even work?

Thanks

Did you mean you broke the battery pack ?

Is it what you are looking for ?

Mod with regular pickups ; Yes you can IMO .
You'll may (?) need a new pickguard if you don't want few holes.

"standard" Strat wiring here:

Yes report if you do the mod.

What's wrong with the battery pack ? You broke it ?

I lost the original one, I took it out to store the guitar and can’t find it anywhere. I may keep it as it is unless the electrics are broken, in which case I’ll mod it and post the results here. Those links were super helpful, thanks for your help. Appreciate it.
