I recently picked up an Evans Eliminator pickup for my MIM start. But, for some odd reason it only produces sound on the E,A & D strings, the G, B & E strings are VERY quiet unless I up the gain, which make the other 3 strings way to loud. Am I missing something here? I'm not sure the values of the pots and cap if they would make the difference, but the wiring is Mexican Strat.

I measured the pickup and it's supposed to have 14k of resistance, it's currently measuring a solid 12.67, so I'd say that's within tolerance and it's not showing an open or unusually high resistance so can I assume the pickup is good?

What would cause this issue? Is it something that I can fix?

Not familiar with these but do you have the correct pickup for the position i.e. lead and rythym.
If you have checked it is wired correctly using the two outer lugs then it
is possible these are a narrow single shape buckers with one coil for each 3 strings in which case one of the coils could be crook.
Just a guess.
You could contact the manufacturer directly :D

Jeff Healey used Evans pickups. Other than that, I don't know those pickups (or even know much about them), but the culprit most likely lays in "they're wound in a figure eight".
That quote is from the last post in the link: https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?t=36369

Seems the homepage never got updated with the "How to test your Evans Pickup" section.

But if there is a way to disassemble an Evans without too much damage, there are custom pickup makers who'd probably be able to rewind and restore it. If not, Lace Sensors.

This article seems to suggest two coils and would make sense of the issue the op is experiencing
Winding a figure 8 would be very difficult to achieve when you think about the process involved but two separate coils looking like a figure 8 is probably what was inferred.

Well, I took it for granted that the figure eight in all likelihood is just that; two coils beside one another, reverse wound, reverse polarity (?).
There are other pickups constructed with the same basic idea, e.g. this one is rather interesting: https://patents.google.com/patent/US7994413

But with a true hand wind method, a true figure eight could be done - it's only a few (9000-14000?) thousand rounds...

The Evans pickups might be wound similarly to this
