This model supposedly only made in Mexico. It has a model thats a Squire but this one isnt a Squire. Special Edition Tom DeLonge, all original down to the single Seymour Duncan Humbucker.

Yes, that would qualify. As you may know, DeLonge ended his contract with Fender and is now endorsing Gibsons. This Fender is a single pickup, solid body strat. The pickup is super high output I believe.

Dude,
I am loving the guitar. Really. But is the carpet underneath the guitar part of a Sammy Hagar-themed game room???

There were some Strats that were deceiving in the past years put out that said Fender on them and still yet (still) said Squire in fine print on the neck as well as the Fender logo. I wouldn't believe these would qualify for a (MIM) but as long as you see only Fender and not Squire in very fine print on the head at the same time you should be able to classify it as a (MIM) Strat.

Yeah, sorry Cush66. We're gonna have to double your dues because of this infraction.

I dont have a Squire. I wouldnt own one because I dont consider them Fender. Has nothing to do with quality.

Hmmm, based on the above evidence, maybe we need to double Abombaci's dues??

I almost drooled on my keyboard, when I saw that, cush66. Alas, I could never get enough saved for one, when they were still brand new, and now I've got a Squier Bullet Special, Fender So Cal Speed Shop Strat and Fender FSR Straight Six Stratocaster, so I'm in no real hurry for a Fender Tom DeLonge Strat. One of these days, however, available money to spend and a Fender Tom DeLonge Strat for sale will coincide. I'm not gonna hold my breath, but I hope I find a Daphne Blue one, although Surf Green wouldn't be bad either.

In case anybody's wondering, I have a bit of a fetish for guitars with just a single pickup, at the bridge. Aside from what I've named, above, I also have an Epiphone Les Paul Jr. 90, and a Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker, and a Fender Esquire is on my "guitars I still need" list.

Matt
