can anyone tell me what are the standard size frets I should order to refret my squier strat? I ordered some off amazon but they ended up being smaller than the frets which were already on the guitar. The frets on right now are probably original. SN: ic081233598. Thanks.

Hmm. Why don't you just measure the frets on the guitar to get correct replacements?

But I'll give this a shot. The serial brings up an Affinity, which usually have Medium Jumbo frets. That is described as a 6130 (Dunlop size).
And originally frets should have been .106" x .036" - but that's no help if the frets are worn to a refret stage.
The tang on the Dunlops is .020", but there is no certainty an Affinity has genuine Dunlop fret wire.
And anyways, the slot might be larger, so on a refret, glue or larger tang might be needed.

Simple, ain't it..?
