I'm afraid you are incorrect about that.
Etiquette is not subjective.
Subjective implies relating to each person on an individual basis.
Personal preferences, likes and dislikes are subjective.
Etiquette is an agreed upon code of conduct that is expected to be followed by everyone within a group or demographic regardless of their own personal preferences.
The words etiquette and subjective are diametrically opposed.

An example of etiquette is politically charged comments on this forum being very strongly discouraged.

+1,000.
I've never seen political comments here and that's what I appreciate about the forum. Etiquette and rudeness are not subjective. Both are obvious behaviors that are easy to spot and usually done on purpose. BTW, I'm 67, but that doesn't entitle me to indulge in bad behavior.

So let me get this straight Big V.

You're "yelling" on a forum of guitar users, wondering why one entire store in PA selling a specific model of guitar doesn't have any stickers that people will remove 30 seconds after taking it out of the box.

And no you're "not old enough to do what you want" on a public forum.

And just because you're trying to make yourself louder (resisted use of capital letters) does not help you make your case or prove your point

Good evening

Being old should be a badge of honour that garners respect and, to an extent, that is true....Not that we actually know how old you are, and I suspect perhaps not as old as a number of the people here.

None the less, while we youngsters (and I'm 50+) will happily defer to age and experience, there are several turning points:-

1. Ah bless, he is old though.
2. Well perhaps that wasn't the case in his day but that is a bit strong.
3. He just a grumpy old......

Congratulations, you have reached level 3. If that was your intention then well done.

BTW (by the way) "Level" refers to video games which is something the young people of today play on their computers. It could also be linked to aspiring to higher station in business where (in these new fangled sky scrapers) the executives are on the higher, more prestigious, floors.

Funny how, no matter how old or young, people don't respond well when others are rude to them (accepting allowances 1 & 2 above). But then that is etiquette for you.

Good evening

I beg your pardon?
Your question was answered the only way it could have been.
We have no way of knowing why there were no stickers on the guitars you mentioned.
After that fact had been established and vinyl was sporting with me over my use of an underline you decided make it about yourself and then turn it into a disagreement.
We were not the ones being difficult.
We answered your question and then had a little fun with a each other ... which we do from time to time on this forum.
You were actually the one being difficult.

From the Jean Leroux character "Frenchie" representing the Free French Army, co-starring with Humphrey Bogart in 1943's classic WWII film "Sahara"......

"I still like your cigarettes, Sergeant."

Um yeah
Because as an older man (or woman for that matter) you grow wisdom and understanding that is typically wasted on youth.
Which btw I know some 12yr 's old that have more poise and decorum on a public forum than yourself .

Did we tell you that missing stickers one peels off their guitars is super trivial rant, that has no capability of being resolved here on this forum?

I would assume if you actually picked up the phone and called Fender (the manufacturer, QA'er, shipper which has more control of what stickers are applied) with or without your current attitude you would have been shuffled off their call center fairly quickly.

Be happy with a nice Fender guitar, with or with out stickers applied

(Ps for the record I am 60yrs old, which compared to some is either really young or really old)
