Yep might help authenticate rough vintage... if you have a compass easy to check polarity.
Wind direction of coil clockwise looking from the top possibly which means tg not tc as I originally said. It means the top of the bobbin facing to the left goes away from the winder so the wind is in a clockwise direction :D

Good to know! I will have to familiarize myself with pickup winding and see if I can confirm your thoughts. Oddly enough, if those specs are correct, they match what should be found on a ‘61 pickup.
