Congrats on the NGD!!
Seems like it came out of the box as it should, ready to be played...Good on Andertons!
I think you'll like that neck pickup blender push-pull once you play w/ it for a while.
Nice looking Gator case as well.

Congrats and thanks for posting.
Have seen you somewhere b4?
Just need to clarify greasebucket is tone shaping not switching the neck pickup in.
Andertons vids are the best to just love the captain and chappers no bs there! :D

The 2nd Greasebucket tone knob has a push-pull function that enables the 7-way switching system. It also cuts the front coil from the Double Tap humbucking pickup unlocking the single coil mode on an HSS configuration.

Congrats on the new axe. I am sure you will have many happy hours together. You were right about the video, it did go on a bit.

I have little doubt that the Andertons videos have transformed a little shop in Guildford into a global brand and I heartily congratulate them for it. The videos are informative, without being patronising, and if they don't like something they say so, even if it is out of their store. Compulsive viewing .... well there is next to nothing worth watching on the TV here in the UK ;-)

Unless you enjoy arguments between Brexit experts, or pontificating climate experts, or Donald Trump detractors! Just summed up the BBC...!

Nice guitar - this is the updated Special, then? And they've messed around with the electrics? I wonder why, when it's supposed to be the cheap US Strat option. I can think of better areas for Fender to spend any spare money!

Cheers - Peter.

Almost; if you add dramas filled with mixed race same sex partnerships and anything else with 50% GL presenters (Top Gear excluded) I think we have nailed it. I'm not saying it is PC gone mad but I feel discriminated against for being a straight white male without a regional accent.

"Brexit expert" there's a misnomer if ever there was one.

Still...nice guitar. I do agree regarding "Guiding the Lilly" of the American Special. The American Special was special for what it was. OK so add some different colours and a hard tail that doesn't just turn up every 10 years, but otherwise I thought it was as good a gold.

Yeah but my point was the op was possibly confusing the switching function with what greasebucket is... :D
