I like the looks of the Torres Very Vintage pickups, but have never played them.

An EMG 89 in the bridge and two emg SA's in middle and neck :P
with the 89 you can have a single or a double coil .. thats my recommendation :P

Thanks guys. Yea I have been interested in the EMGs. That could be because I am a David Gilmour fan! Can you get good sustain from the EMGs?

Are there any humbuckers that will fit in a single coil spot that ALSO have a coil tap to give you the option of using it as a humbucker or single coil? :)

Hi, Mike. I play in church as well. Mostly rock. My friend changed the pups on his strat to Fender vintage noiseless and they sound great. Good sustain with crisp, clean tones and no noise. I'm in the process of changing the PU's in my 93 MIM strat and that's what I'm trying. You might consider them. I've also tried a SD SH-4 as the bridge PU and it sounds very good. The SH-4 is a humbucker with a bright, high output. I used Carvin rails for the neck and mid pu's and am not pleased with them. Kinda muddy. You might also check http://reviews.harmony-central.com/ for reviews on pickups that you are doing research on. Its a pretty subjective process that also depends on the styles you like and the other equipment you are using. Good luck!

Thanks Noblehopper. I didnt know that changing the pups would be so confusing! But I am learning. I will sometimes have to play rhythm but dont have time to switch guitars between songs. With my standard Japanese pups the rhythm is not sounding so good. H
