i recently bought a strat (excellent) its my love. but i was looking at guitarcenter and saw the color i have always wanted on a classic 50's strat reissue, and am torn. I was wondering the reissues are only made for a certain length of time, or if i can take my time buying it.

I have a 70s reissue Strat that was introduced since 1998 I think.

I think the 70 reissue Strat was introduced in 1999 and I just bought mine last week. The color is Natural Wood! :)

I had one when I first strated back in '86...it was a Hondo "Startocaster"...as soon as I had enough bucks to get a better one...out it went!

Don't settle for any of these so called Stratocaster copies. They usually sound like crap, nothing like a Strat and have a high or horrible action as compared to the genuine thing.
