OK. Mine would be a Left Handed body (I'm a Lefty) with a reverse headstock, Rosewood fretboard, 7.25 radius, jumbo frets, right handed trem/bridge. For pickups I'm not really sure, but instead of a 5 way I would like 6 mini on/off switches, 2 for each pickup, one for turning the pickup on/off and the other for in/out of phase.
For the color I would like a 3 tone Gray burst (Black, Medium Gray, and Light Gray). All black hardware/plastics and a Silver/Black Paisley pickguard.

I'd like a hollowed out natural ash body with maple neck, 9.25 radius, Lace Golds (or duallys, Fat 50s...would have to see what sounded best with hollowed out body) locking tuners, graphite nut, micro-tilt adjustment, medium jumbo frets, e-megaswitch with several pup combinations and vintage trem. 8)

Hmmm I'd have to go with a

-black alder body with nitro finish
-reverse oversized headstock
-maple neck and fretboard with a deep vintage tint
-compound 10"-16" radius
-medium-jumbo or jumbo frets
-3-ply W/B/W pickguard
-vintage trem
-"F" style tuners and neck plate
-Big Dipper pickups with the accompanying electronics
-set up with 10 guage strings
-Fender "transitional" style headstock logo

It would be black with a rosewood fretboard (with the classic gibson inlays) with a tom delonge pickguard... a golden fleur de lis on the corner of the front....

So far it would be:

American Deluxe Ash Stratocaster
Tobacco Sunburst
Rosewood Fret Board

and add:

Fender LSR Nut

Pretty simple really.

@kingman 44: I think Seymour-Duncan has woorden pickups! I'm not sure.. Could have been another brand..

I'm currently building my dream strat.

Black body (deluxe)
Chrome pickguard
Chrome dome knobs
Pickups: SD Hot Rails in the bridge, SD Vintage Rails in the middle, and SD Cool Rails in the neck.
Maple neck with ebony fretboard and the head stock painted black.
Special bridge I once saw with extra mics in it or something like that.. Don't really know anymore. I ordered it 2 months ago and I'm still waiting! :)
And straplocks!

The only things I still need are the neck, the bridge, and the straplocks.
I'm probably gonna build a second one after that but I'm still thinking it through.. But it will probably be a blue body with gold hardware.

I recently bought my dream Strat. I've always wanted an American sunburst/maple neck hardtail (no tuning issues!) with gold anodized p/g. When I found out that the Am Standard Strat Hardtail was discontinued, I searched frantically for one, any color/neck combo, before they were all gone. I found the sunburst/maple guitar and bought the p/g and an aged plastic parts kit to give it the authentic vintage look and I couldn't be happier.
