Is their a diagram, or does anyone know how to wire the straight import 5-way switch so that tone pot 2 is just for the bridge pick up & tone pot 1 is for neck & middle? I have wired a few American 5-way this way and the new player series comes that way. I have not seen an inline straight import 5-way wired that way & can't find a diagram.

Check this pdf: http://www.guitar-academy.com/YouTubeDo ... -Strat.pdf

The step four shows the tone pot wirings. You need to move T2 wire to the empty lug (thus, T2 is for the bridge pickup) and solder a jumper between the T1 wire lug and the lug you just left empty (with this, T1 controls the neck and middle pickup).

Thanks for the info. I'll do this. The link you sent is very helpful. The link dose not show the modification but your explanation is very good.

After I do this I should have tone #2 for just the bridge PU, and tone #1 for the middle and neck PU. Is this correct?

That's correct, the switch positions after those mods will be
Pos 1, bridge pickup only, tone 2
Pos 2, bridge + middle, tone 1 & 2
Pos 3, middle only, tone 1
Pos 4, middle + neck, tone 1
Pos 5, neck only, tone 1

There's been some discussions on the "which tone should be wired to which pickup" etc. subject. There seems to be no one right answer, different wirings suit different playing styles. The wiring above seems to be among the less common ones.

Those last ( or lowest on the pic in the link pdf) three lugs of the switch are the "out" side of the switch, so you can play with 'which pickup for which tone pot' in the same way as with a blade switch.
