Purchased new 2014. It has two Tone and one Volume knob, arranged tone, volume, tone down the body. There is no pull/push click switch, there are no "ridges" in the rotating motion of the knobs. There is no battery pack hatch in the back. The User Manual I got with the guitar suggest these switching functions but there aren't any.
I have yet to pull the scratch plate off. Any help at all will be appreciated. Cheers all.

All of that together sounds just weird.
Start by checking the serial number here, the database should cover the MIM2014 era: https://www.fender.com/product-registra ... ial-search
And if you want forum help, post a large selection of high-res pics.

Re: Which one are we talking about.
There is a term commonly used in retail: "New Old Stock."
The item is still brand new, never been sold, ergo: Purchased new 2014, made 2007.
I bought it for $800 in Singapore which translates as about $450 US.
Keep swingin' ,,, Cheers.

Thank you for the answer, now i'm understand.

I have the 2007 Fender guitar catalog ; Frontline
I don't see any Roadhouse Stratocaster

There is American Deluxe Series, American Series

The other series are not ( IMO) american made like Deluxe Series

They should exist ;

That looks the same, no battery slot in back, MZ7 Serial Number. Except my pots are arranged Tone, Volume, Tone. Neglected to mention; it has medium jumbo frets which take a bit of getting used to. Cheers again.

Battery are useful for active pickups. Did a 2007 Deluxe Roadhouse Strat use active electronics ? I guess not

I don't remember any factory stock, non-modded Strat with that Tone/Volume/Tone pot order.

Did you check the serial number in the registration database link, and what was the result?

stratele52 is correct.
There was no Strat Deluxe Roadhouse in 2007.

There was a Deluxe Powerhouse Stratocaster in 2007 with conventional pot order of VTT.
There have been other models called Roadhouse (not in 2007) which also have conventional pot order of VTT.

Purchased in Singapore .... from an authorized Fender retailer?

I suggest you contact Fender using the Contact Us link I have posted in red here and which is also found at the bottom of every forum page.
Provide them with your serial number and ask them for any details they have on the guitar.
They will respond within a few days time with a full rundown.
I seriously doubt there will be any indication of a non-standard pot order.
I think it is a safe bet your guitar has been modified but wait until they respond to you first.

With Fender, things are never as simple as "not in Frontline" = "not existing". Many new models are missing from their introduction year Frontlines, because of the printing schedules & deadlines.
Add to that the typical overlaps with serial numbers - it's quite common those are some months late or early.

The (Deluxe) Roadhouse Stratocaster, 013-9312-(306 for Black, 332 for Brown Sunburst, 380 for Arctic White appears on the 2008 Frontline, with no mention of batteries, active electronics, rotary switches and all that jazz - AFAIK, those are a 2014 addition.

I have no idea if any of the first batch ones was given an MZ7 serial, but I give it the benefit of the doubt. It's the T/V/T pot order that makes me wonder...

Stratele included a link to Reverb which page advertised an 07 Mex Strat deLuxe Roadhouse, same as mine but not with my pot configuration though. I’m satisfied the thing is genuine but there appear to be some early mongrels in the breed.
Cheers.

Dawggone, man, are you gonna leave us hanging with the product registration serial database results???

OK, I did some modifications to a 2007 Lonestar MZ7-serial. A random try with MZ7309XXX brought the result "ROADHOUSE™ STRATOCASTER® (2007-2014)", with a pic of a Brown Sunburst instrument.
