Very nice......looks nearly identical to my '60 Closet Classic Strat in black.

Nice looking Strat.
It's a shame the Custom Shop didn't get the pickguard screw position correct between the middle and neck pickups.
You'd have thought the Custom Shop would have that bit screwed down, but obviously not :wink:

Hmmm… The build sheet pics say G/B/G nitro pickguard, so maybe the white looking one in the other pics isn't original... :lol:

I'd venture a guess that's a '65 pickguard since it's a true white and it's configured to use oval-head, counter-sunk screws for the pickups and selector switch.

Yes the guy mentioned he has the original pick guard and he's sending it to me alongside the guitar !
