I was wondering if the following guitar is a real Stratocaster/custom shop Strat.

That serial number comes back "US Lone Star Strat MN CAR"
It is *not* a Custom Shop.
The Lone Star models were H-S-S.
Look closely at this picture... this one is a fake, likely a Partscaster made from a legit neck.

Zoom in as far as your browser will go.
There is red under the Micro-tilt hole... this guitar does not have micro tilt, and the LoneStar had the "Fender" logo straight across the neck plate with "Corona, California" beneath it.

Here is a real Lone Star: https://reverb.com/p/fender-american-lo ... -gold-1998
Note the bridge... 2-pivot, block saddles with offset intonation screws.
The Mexican models had the 6-screw bridge with stamped saddles
Here's the service diagram from Fender: https://p4.zdassets.com/hc/theme_assets ... B_SISD.pdf
Note the hardware matches the Reverb listing.
