Here are some youtube vids of my band playing at a recent battle of the bands show. We didn't win, but that really wasn't our intention anyway-- just to rock out in front of an audience! I'm the lead guitar player in the red shirt twanging on my '99 MIA Standard Strat. Check out song #4 and please feel free to leave comments!

What kind of Strat and amp are you using? For the solo, it looks like you hit a stomp box. What kind?

I play a '99/'00 American Standard Strat (maple neck) with Texas Specials in the middle and neck positions and a SD hot rails in the bridge. My amp is a Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 100w head through a Marshall 1936 212 cab. Effects (in no particular order) are a keeley modded ts9 tube screamer, a boss ds-2 dist, boss ge-7 eq, a boss dd-3 delay and a vox wah. I run most of the effects through a boss ns-2 to cut the noise. For song #4, I start out with the tube screamer and then beef up the sound for the solo by adding the ds-2 and eq.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll pass it on to my bass player who made the page!
