Lefty Strat with the maple (dark brown) finish, lockers, 4th Gen. noiseless HSS setup. I'm pretty fired up, should be on its way to me in a week or two. I will report back thusly once she's in my hands. First experience with a Strat with a bumhucker but never ever use the single coil in the bridge by itself. Makes me ears bleed mates.

No pics, then it never happened ;-)

Enjoy your new guitar. I am a bit jelous as they don't do Mod Shop for the UK.

John Sims: Pics are on Facebook, look me up as Bruce Downs from Cincinnati Ohio. Wonderful axe, godsend for us lefthanders! Stinks you can’t get one over yonder.

Looked up the pix on Facebook A beauty! I'm also a lefty and have been thinking about the Mod Shop. Strangely, the choices I made on the configuration page are identical to the guitar you got! Great minds think alike. Except I think you said you chose "maple" as the body color. I chose "walnut", but can't find a choice for "maple".

Regardless... how do you like the pickups, especially the humbucker in the bridge position?

I may pull the trigger on one in the not too distant future. Thanks for any input. Enjoy!

Judson

If you right mouse click on the large image in FB and "copy image address", you can then reference the images here with the img tag. Saves us having to trawl Farcebook. :-)

Maple can be used for the top, the mod shop doesn't currently have such "limited edition" option in their offerings.

The OP refers to a natural ash body.

Thanks for the clarification.
