I really like my G-DEC Jr, but maybe I should have gotten the next model up in the G-DEC line.

I'd really like to be able to load my own MP3s into the amp so I can pick from a menu to allow me to play with them.

Does the G-DEC do that? Or do you need to go up to the G-DEC 30?

I'd also like a better sound quality than I get with the G-DEC Jr.

In any case, I like the G-DEC concept and am looking to upgrade. I'd appreciate your advice as I shop for this upgrade.

I used to own a G-Dec Junior and traded it in for a GDEC 30.
The 30 is so much better. In regards to MP3 you can't store them on the GDEC but there is a audio cable hookup at the back so you can play your MP3's or CD's through the AMP.
There is also a 28 second phase sampler. I use this for learning parts of a song. I will hook up my mp3 player to the GDEC and record just the part of the song I am learning. Then I can just loop it and even overdub yourself playing along. It's awesome for this.
I think you would be much happier with the 30.
