Here's my JV strat...

Image

Mods so far are a Fender mint green pickguard, Fender aged plastic, and Planet Waves strap knobs (don't need strap locks). I plug this tone machine into a NOS Blues Jr and it sounds like happy. The next purchase will likely be an overdrive pedal, after several test drives I'm leaning towards the BBE Green Screamer but would certainly welcome suggestions.

Bluesgrass - I really dig the Tex-Mex pups. When I bought the JV, I also played a Roadhouse and a Lonestar with the Texas Specials, I liked the Tex-Mex pups better. Seems they have a little more "bite" than the TS's.

Nice geetar, like the pickguard.
The Fulltone Full-Drive II mosfet is a nice overdrive/boost pedal.
