Hi,
Did anybody else had this kind of issue? I have had the chance to play the Elite in several shops around the world (Japan, Romania, Israel) the sound was always amazing, but in some models the frets where sticking out of the side of the neck.
Eventually I bought one - which was delivered to me straight from the factory and I'm sorry to say that this is the case with the one I got as well :( .
In setup/fix now :(
Fender team - I think you need to pick up your game here...

From the Fender building plant with controlled temperature to your country, ( or your home too dry ?) the neck wood may sometimes shrink, nothing new and not a big issue.

See you luthier or use a file on fret ends. :)

It is just down to us annoying purists who want our guitar necks made from tree wood. If we accepted something more stable it wouldn't be an issue.

I really isn't a difficult fix though. My favourite tool is:-

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OPINEL-NATURAL-SHARPENING-STONE-10cm/192863028160?epid=571802222&hash=item2ce78843c0:g:5sMAAOSwB-1Y7mRi.

It is such a intrinsic part of my guitar tool kit it lives in the guitar tool box.

Rub it along the neck gently and you can hear when the frets are flush. Rosewood is really easy. Maple you can graze the lacquer if not careful, but even this isn't really an issue.

It's possible who ever did the final fret work did not clean up the fret ends, but that would be an off day I think..

this is probably "fret sprout" and if that is the case, it has very little to do with Fenders manufacturing process.

It has everything to do with humidity, (or lack thereof) where the wood gets dry, shrinks, and the frets, which are impervious to climate, will wind up protruding out of the edge of the neck
