Please help, looking for information on a fender tele elite Walnut and gold I have serial number E300191.
I would like to know how many elite Walnuts were made in 1983. Any help for imfomation would be appreciated. Thanks Alex

Not much info pertaining to #'s made, however it was only produced from 83-84. These were transitional years for Fender, so not a whole lot of US production could be assumed. The standard line was also being produced along w/ the 3 elite models(elite/gold-elite/walnut-elite). The walnut was the most expensive msrp @$999, with American black walnut body/neck, ebony fingerboard, pearloid tuner buttons and gold hardware.
Today's value in excellent-mint condition is about $1800 w/ original case.
