Hello All,
I have a 54 Reissue that does not say “Made In X” anywhere on the neck.
I’ve searched all over the web for this *54 on the bottom of the neck. No dice.
Body’s been painted Pink.
Original owner passed away in 1997.
Noble Pots, Plastic 5 way, Pickgaurd swapped.
No marks left on body.
Vintage style saddles.
Today I’m leaning towards knock off. But that neck feels like a decent Fender neck. Truss rod head looks crappy.
Thanks for any assistance.

+1

There are no clairvoyants here.

When you do your part we'll do ours.

I think this (and the other similar topic from the OP; https://forums.fender.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=113428) fell a victim of the forum's new-member-first-post-delay-to-fight-spam policy, so that other forum beat FF to the solution by a mile and a half.
For anyone interested, the pic link is here: http://www.strat-talk.com/threads/1954- ... -x.501828/

Not a licensed Fender re-issue '54 body imo.
Crap pots/wiring, but not an upgrade.
Bridge and saddles look ok.
Neck, not enough info. for me but there is no US or Japan origin label. As far as I know that's the only places they make/made RI instruments. Maybe some are from Mexico nowadays, dunno.

String tree looks like an Allparts vintage style... the "shelf" is too wide to be a Fender (which was used on the Tele)
Not sure if it's heavy grain, but look carefully at the side of the control cavity. I suspect that is a laminated body.
