Hi

I would like help identifying this Strat please.

The serial number says it is made in 2007 or early 2008.

I thought it might be a Eric Johnson 2007 Sunburst but I also found a cheaper model that looked the same too. The serial number is Z7071339

Any help would be much appreciated. My knowledge is very limited.

Regards

Nigel

I agree 100%. The neck and trem are wrong for it to be an Eric Johnson for a start.

Where to start?
3-ply 11-hole pickguard. EJ would be single ply 8-hole.
2-pivot bridge with block saddles. EJ would be 6-screw vintage style with bent saddles.
Tuners are standard modern style, EJ would be Kluson slotted pegs.
String tree is standard modern style, EJ would have no string tree.
Neck plate is standard modern style, EJ would be engraved "EJ" with the Kokopelli graphic.
Micro tilt, 2007 EJ has/had no micro tilt.
EJ had/has no tremolo spring cavity cover....

What you have is a very nice, good condition 10 year old Made in US Strat.

To be OCD-precise, that's an American (Series) Stratocaster 011-7400-XXX (the last digits are the color code, 700 for 3TS), not an American Standard Stratocaster 011-0400-XXX.
