Does anybody know if back in the 90s Fender/Squier knobs had small dots under the digits?

Like so

Or are the dotted ones all non-fender aftermarket knobs?

I've never spotted such a thing previously.

+1

Yeah, those look pretty wonky to me. You might think about picking up one of Fender's accessory kits (includes knobs, switch tip, trem-arm tip, trem cover, and pickup covers). I recommend the "parchment" set as the aged white is too creme-colored. About twenty bucks on Ebay.

My early 90s Squier (laminated) did not have those dots.
Keep in mind that there is a small difference in the knurling on CTS vs import pots.

The shafts are actually fluted, not knurled. And some pots feature a smooth, solid shaft.

Did the "odd serial number, US-made for export only, (88 or) 89-90, H/I/K-serial" Strats have these knobs-with-dots..?
