Strat weights vary a lot. Anything from about seven to about ten lbs is correct. Most are in the 7.5 - 8.5 area.
This has been discussed many times over, maybe do a forum search for "stratocaster weight".

My 2008 MIA (see signature picture) was weighed on a postal meter at 8.3lbs

Comnent on weighing, Too many people pick something up a go, this feels like xyz.
Or rely on very inaccurate bathroom scales.
Find the most accurate weigh scale you can find,

They all seem to be at the very light end of expected. You might want to try another set of scales?

I've never weighed mine. I do know (just by feel) that my Korean made Harmony Strat copy is BY FAR the heaviest of the 4 (not sure what wood it is...probably a veneer of sorts), then my Squire Bullet (Bass wood). Both the 2012 and 2015 MIM's are similar (both Alder), however with the steel trem block, roller saddles, and trem arm on the 2015, I'd guess it is slightly heavier than the 'decked' 2012...though I can't really feel it.
Regardless...they are all comfortable for ME to play---but my Gibson loving buddy always tells me to "leave the boat anchor at home" (referring to the Harmony) when I go jam with him. LOL!
