I just recently purchased some TS pups for my lefty strat but forgot to take into consideration the fact that they have stagered poles that were intended for right handed guitars. You cannot just install them upside down. I think, however, they may work if they are intalled back-to-front AND upside down. Does anyone know if this will work or if there will be electrical/magnetic interference from surronding hardware? :?

Try this:

Put the pickups in normally. Then to offset the difference in pole piece stagger when you adjust pickup height the bass side should be closer to the strings than the treble side. In other words opposite of what they would be normally.
To fine tune them choose one pickup at a time, guitar volume on 10, amp on 1 or 2. strike the E and e strings with the same amount of attack. Adjust the pickup height so that both the E and e strings have the same amount of volume.

Upside-down?

Back to front?

If you don't take Chet's advice, you gotta post pictures so I can see how you are mounting them!

Play righty... doesnt it make sense to have your more agile and developed hand on the fret board? The guitar is as handed as the Saxophone
