i want to upgrade my tuners .. and i was wondering what tuners would drop right in w/o any modifications .. i have a new mim strat ..thanks in advance for anyones input

They are an improvement in that it makes a string change much easier and less time consuming. They are also staggered which gives the upper strings less of an angle off of the nut.

what does staggered mean ? .. would i have to adjust my string tree to compensate ? are my factory mim tuners staggered ?

No, the MIM's are not staggered. The locking tuners' 3 upper string posts(G,B,& E) are shorter. You need not do anything in the form of adjustment. They are literally "drop-in and play".
