Have you owned an Elite HSS Strat and sold it for another guitar? If so, can you tell me why you sold it? I'm thinking about purchasing an Elite HSS Strat and would like to know what previous owners liked or didn't like about it.

I have one hss and like it. btw I never use the S1 switch and never use the passing lane switch.
I love the compound radius of the neck - it flattens more on the higher frets.
I love the look of the new truss rod adjustment - many ppl dont like it btw.

Do you know why many people don't like it?

I don't like the look of the new truss rod nut 'cause;

1-I love the original Leo Fender desing. It is my youth and my guitar heros
2- Some cheap '60 guitar have this truss rod nut.

Beside this ; it is a better / easy way to adjust truss rod than other truss rod nut used by Fender and other

I don't have a problem with the way the "wagon wheel" adjuster is done on the EVH models.
Fender did it ugly by recessing it into the fretboard, though I've seen EVH models done the same way.

You see the guys, they dont like the look of the truss rod, but I love it. Toghether with the flatter radius on the upper frets, marvellous.
BTW, this truss rod thing is the sameon the Charvel San Dimas, with a much flatter fretboard, thats the best for fast playing.

Here's the thing about the truss rod adjustment. Anything is better than the original design with the adjustment in the heel. You either have to take off the neck or mangle your pickguard to get to it.

The blower switch puts your amp into distortion as it bypasses the whole circuit and sends the humbucker's signal path directly to the output jack while the S1 gives you even more tonal possibilities. Although the former is useful for solos the latter lacks off auto-split functionality for the bridge pickup.

ESP and Blade Guitars are on the same bandwagon.

This is only on the Fender Vintage Guitar,
Truss rod nut at the peg head, for most guitar, work great.

Yes, this is true. Peghead design is great. I'm speaking of the earlier designs like my 1966 Stratocaster (vintage & long gone). I mangled my pickguard rather than take off the neck. It was not a good design.

I agree, not a great idea.

I think that's the only thing we could blame (the word is not fair) to Leo Fender.
All of his achievements were "perfect" and never needed improvement 60 years later.
