i just bought a brand new fender stratocaster eric clapton.. and i want to know the difference between the ''fender stratocaster eric clapton'' and the "fender stratocaster eric clapton BLACKIE" thnxs! :D

I'm sure that Blackie differs from yours because it way ahead of it's time way before Clapton got together with the Fender Custom Shop and did the modifications before Fender put out his signature model. Also Blackie most likely didn't have the 25 decible mid range boost circuit like yours does.

there's also the normal american artist series elric clapton model... it comes in black and says "BLACKIE" on the head stock. The only difference between this blackie (artist series) and the other eric clapton (artist series) guitars is a.) the color and b.) the "BLACKIE" decal on the front of the head stock underneath the eric clapton signature.
