cheapest easiest solutioun is,
get a ciggarette paper, rip it down the middle along its fold, lick the gum bit, wrap it round your trem arm, screw the trem arm in.
not the best soultion and it wont last after you take the trem arm out again. it is very very cheap though.

Back in the 70s I had a Strat that the tremolo bar stripped anyway. They strip real easy. I just screwed it in until I felt it getting tight and backed off a turn. Fender recommends always removing the tremolo bar everytime you put your guitar back into the case. If you keep removing and putting back on your going to strip the threads anyway. I never removed it and just put it back in my case with it on. It was just lowered a little bit when the case was closed. It's a no win situation. The bar stripped anyway. One day it just kept turning & turning & turning, but like I said if you keep taking it out and putting it back in everytime you put your guitar back into it's case, your going to strip it anyway. Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple was constantly breaking his tremelo bars so he had a guy install a kickstand for a tremelo bar! (laughs)

Mine was loose as well. Went to the shop where I bought it, and they gave me another tremelo spring to pop down into the hole. Mine was missing. Problem solved.

I wonder if plumber's tape (teflon tape) would work the same way?
