Agreed, it would seem to be a Hwy 1 neck by the modern serial number along with the 70's headstock decal. it could also be a 70's player (am i right) but my best guess is a Hwy1.

as far as the body you got me. it could be an '08 standard because of the new bent steel saddles as apposed to the high-mass, steel saddles.

just my thoughts, I could be wrong...

As mentioned, that's a Highway One neck. Who knows about the rest of it? We'd need to see pictures of it all apart.

I don't like the looks of that White neck pickup in that color scheme!

It looks like an aftermarket pickguard.

But it looks decent enough if you are considering buying it.

The Classic Players series is Mexican, correct? So the serial number should be MZ... this one is only Z, so I assume it's American, meaning Highway One. That's the neck, at least.

2007, early 2008, if I remember my numbering codes correctly.

I may be wrong BUT, didn't Fender the serial # & "MADE IN THE U.S.A." sticker at the very end of the headstock???? Most Koreans, Chinese, or Malays had the serial # in the spot where this one is on this headstock. I could be wrong........

"Thenk ya; thenk ya fery mush."
