I own a Mexican HSS Strat, and I play a lot of instrumental rock with whammy bar effects that the stock vibrato system can't produce without severely going out of tune. Is it possible to put a Floyd Rose in it, and if so, about how much would it cost? Please reply! Thank you!

Before I spent money on changing the bridge I would take the guitar in and have a tech set it up. A properly set up stock Fender bridge should not have any tuning issues.

You have to make mill works on the bridge and a new sattle must be installed. Do you really want to damage it? Or you check it out with guitar luthier (costs ect).
Or you check out the Standard Strat HSS with locking tremolo upgrade.
There a a lot of guitars out there with Floyd Rose from cheap to expensive from brands like ESP,LTD, Ibanez, Dean, , BC Rich, Jackson and many more.

Good luck :D

Totaly true,
there's a art to setting up a strat trem and its well worth paying someone in the know to do the setup. It could well work out cheaper to buy a floyd equipped guitar, rather than pay for routing, fingerboard adjustment, trem system, and instalation. Its personal opinion but floyds really detract from a guitar's tone. Do you really want to do that to your strat?

Yes, take it to a music shop and talk to them about it. They can probably steer you in the right path. Good luck
