I'm looking at buying a 93 stratocaster and they're asking $300 it looks like it's in good condition but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
It's model number is CN325241
What would it be worth in good condition?

It's a Fender Squire SRS (Special Run Series) Traditional with Maple fretboard...is what I get when running the Serial (not model) number.
In "good" condition...I personally wouldn't pay $300 for an early 90's Squire (unless it was made in Japan or Korea, but the "C" in the serial number would suggest China); you can get a brand new Squire Classic Vibe (also made in China) right now for under $399...basically the same guitar as far as I know.
Sites like Musicians Friend often offer 15% off upper end purchases...that would put a new Classic Vibe at about $340.

It's ultimately your call, I'm just showing you how I look at things.

Agreed.
It's nothing special... and even the Korean models from the early 90s, I had one, had plywood bodies.
For $300, I'd put another $50-$100 with it and get a brand new model with a warranty and "fresh" electronics.
I wouldn't pay more than $200 for a '93 unless it was a Japanese build.

Where did you get that info? To me, Fender's Product Registration Serial Number Database brings back "STRAT SQ SRS MPL TRD", which would be a Fender "Squier Series", Torino Red Stratocaster with maple fretboard…

Anyways, the CN serials are Korean - it should say so on the guitar - and 1993 would fit the proper timeline. Without pics or link to the ad, any legit/fake pondering is of course impossible. (It's a bit odd that a 1993 Korean Strat is in the database, while same age US Fenders may be missing. That year is said to be the beginning of Fender's e-databases…)

@TheChampion42:
For those Squier Series models, 300$€£ does not seem totally whacko, but it sure is on the upper register of the scale (all puns intended, if there are any…). Same year, same model, different color guitar sold on reverb.com (not the cheapest option) for 250.
Nineties Korean Strats are not my passion. But if you absolutely love the guitar, and your significant other (I mean wallet, wife and such) won't hit the brakes, why not.

WAY to expensive for that guitar.

I guess prices are CRAZY expensive everywhere else but where I live.

Here are some USA Strats I've scored in the last 3 years.

$325 - '90 Fender Strat Plus
$400 - '07 Fender '57 AVRI
$425 - '89 Fender Standard

Prices for the guitar like you're looking at are about $75-150 all day long around these parts.
