Dann Huff is an endorsee of Tyler guitars though he's occasionally seen playing vintage Fenders, including his heavily modified sunburst '63 Strat heard on most Giant recordings.

RS Guitarworks did a replica of the original a couple of years ago, now it's Fender's turn to make a pristine recreation of the '63 Huffcaster guaranteed to please fans of LA-based rock.

Yep.

Dann threw in a Floyd Rose on it for a while before reverting back to the Wilkinson trem.

The sunburst '63 served as the platform for a signature model better known as Black Classic Level 3.

Smart man.
The Floyd is stable, and that's all I'm going to say for it.
Intonation and adjustment is a pain. With the advent of locking tuners, the locking nut is a pain. It just adds a LOT of complexity for little added benefit, virtually no benefit unless you are doing slack-string dive bombs.

Michael Landau has already an endorsement deal with Fender. He still uses Suhrs and Tylers, though.

The idea about the Huffcaster Strat came after seeing a couple of photos showing Dann with a Sonic Blue '61 NOS. He brought back the Huffcaster for the recent Giant reunion tour.
