I have an EJ strat that I've had for about 3 months or so. When it was applied, the nitro on the fingerboard crept up the back of the frets. It's been starting to wear off, more so in "high traffic" areas, but it's kinda rough where the wear happens between strings (say, on the 3rd fret, the nitro has worn under the 1st and 2nd strings, but not under the 3rd). Is this normal? Anyone have any solutions? Thanks in advance!

I've had the same thing happen. I just took a pick and scraped the finish off of the frets.

Same here, I used a pocket knife and scraped the frets clean. It's no biggie.
