I recently purchased a Strelicaster body - Trouble maker Telecaster shape with Strat neck and hardwear. The issue I have is in respect of the pickguard as a Strat guard won't fit. I can produce the files to have one CNCed but wondered if there were any off the shelf solutions.

Google can't find anything about a Fender Strelicaster.

It's just what I am calling it, as it seems the most appropriate.

The OP wants a replacement pickguard for a Tele-Strat hybrid.

In his place I would opt for the Warmoth route.

Try the Warmoth route.

Since Troublemakers are Cabronitas with humbuckers and you want a Tele-Strat hybrid replacement pickguard Warmoth is the best place to go. Ken can build you a TS hybrid guard routed for two humbuckers; beware of the prices, though.

I bet the OP opts for the 2nd picture except the Troublemaker body is routed for humbuckers with a 4-knob arrangement and the jack is side-mounted.

Outstanding. That is exactly what I was after.

I have already purchased the body - unfinished single piece Swamp Ash @ 1.8 Kg so once I decide what finis to go with I shall get the plate ordered.

The Fender site doesn't show the main images in such a way that you can copy the address. I have grabbed a sub image now though (although the mystery is already resolved)

LOL Blue is a possibility. I haven't seen the body yet so , if the grain isn't up to much it might be either another Daphne or a Lake Placid. As a single piece body, if any good, it should realy be transparent though. I rather fancy trying a two colour burst or perhaps a classic Telecaster blonde.

Go for something original, not a Fender color, but like Fender, an Automotive color...
Check out Toyota's "Blue Crush" and "Speedway Blue"
Blue Crush is a dark metallic, while Speedway Blue is a brighter metallic.

A very serious contender (When I put blonde I really meant Butterscotch  )

It has to be available in nitro rattle can so that counts out the majority of modern automotive colours. If the grain sucks then Lake Placid is favourite.

Another possibility is to got rat on it , not fill the grain and spray it black with rusted metal parts.
