I just pre-ordered my Relic Strat. # 6 in the country....

Anyone else interested; here is some helpful info:
The first 500 made will have the autographed "Black Strat Book". Of these 500, 250 are sold in the US. The other 250 will be sold in the UK/Europe.

The numbering of the of the guitars are not sequential, so what they are doing is calling you before it is sent out and giving you the option of what model # you want. You can go to this website to pre-order the NOS or Relic models. http://www.wildwoodguitars.com/

The assure you of your place on the pre-order list. Like I said earlier, I was #6.

Hope this is helpful.

Congratulations, goodkid6. I guess it pays to be "good," no?

Anyway, when you get it, you MUST post some pictures of it.
Preferably while you are playing "Money" in your Pink Floyd cover band.

I'll play it! I have to learn first, so I got a squire and started taking lessons. When it comes in, I'll throw a party and everyone can play it. I'll send everyone an evite ;-)

I too was mildly horrified to think for a second this incredible creation wouldn't be played, but thank God you're learning - it's definitely one worth learning for! *phew*

Congrats on getting such a low number, too.. I wonder which lucky sod received no.1? Gilmour? Lol. 8)

Absent a 'limited edition' policy, this may not be an investment grade purchase.

Doc

Exactly. I know people who are just like this individual, and buy guitars associated with their favorite artists to collect them. A very good friend of mine bought an EVH art-series guitar (one hand taped by Eddie himself). My buddy does not play ... that guitar went right into a case, to never be played. Not ever...

Anyone else pull the trigger on this baby?

Check out EBAY, there are a few nice copies out there, granted they are not the hallowed CS models, but still nice. I think these folks are selling to get the "real thing"

Time for me to start working some OT
