Hello! I have inherited a fender stratocaster allegedly from 1963, i have no experience when it comes to guitars. How can i identify it? The serial number is engraved in the neck plate and it says "03001895".

To get any relevant info from the forum, you need to post pics - as many and as high-res as you can. Whole guitar, details from the headstock, bridge, neck plate/heel/joint, electronics etc; etc. And the background story, as far as you know it, would be helpful.

And if that turns to 'it's really a 1963 Strat' direction, get a pro to evaluate the guitar if you plan on selling it.

But the serial has too many digits for a '63 Strat, so at the moment I'm a bit dubious.

First you need to upload your pics to the internet. Use a pic hosting site (imgur, imgbb or such - avoid photobucket) or some common web framework like e.g. facebook, googlephotos - whatever you're familiar with.
The important thing is that the web site provides you with a pic address - that's the one starting with 'http' or 'https' and ending in '.jpg'.

Copy the pic address, and use the IMG-command (visible when you write a message) on the forum.

Preview your post so everything is OK.

It is not a 1963 Fender guitar, IMO it is nor a Fender product.

Serial number in '60 area;

50,000s to 70,000s 1961
60,000s to 90,000s 1962
80,000s to 90,000s 1963
90,000s up to L10,000s 1963
L10,000s up to L20,000s 1963
L20,000s up to L50,000s 1964
