Will the standard Fender Strat 8 screw pick guard and electronics fit into the body of a early 80's Harmony guitar?
I know this sounds strange, but I have a chance to get a perfect 80's Harmony and I have a 8 screw early Strat pick guard with moden electronics. Thanks for any help.

It looks like that. I could use the Harmony pick guard and just change the pickups, but I would rather use the whole Fender set up.

It's really hard to say, even Squier and Japanese Fenders don't always match.
You *could* most likely use the Fender parts, worst case you'd need to plug the original screw holes with toothpicks and re-drill for the new PG.

Very, very ugly.

Definitely as case of "We must do something that doesn't look like Fender made it." They certainly succeeded.

Will Fender stuff fit on it? Well Ferrari stuff might fit on a Ford but should you really go there?

If stuff is free or very cheap and you want to learn how to work on a guitar, why not.
