John: Do you know if that CW swirl used the dip method to get that look or is hand painted? Looks spiffy either way. TIA

Names? I never called any of my early guitars by name including my 12 string.

The avatar Strat to the left in my hands I call Buddy. It hangs on the wall next to a framed Buddy Holly 78rpm. The name works when I leave my wife for downstairs in the family/music room. I’ll just say, “I’m going to be awhile, I’m going to see my buddy.” :P

The Taylor is just Taylor. Fred doesn’t work.

It was dipped. The base colour is the cream and the others were applied in the dip. It is a great looking guitar, I wish I loved it to play. It may yet end up on the wall.

Thanks, for the quick answer, John. No wonder it looks great. That dipping process looks easy, but it still takes an artist and some luck to get a really good effect, and I agree yours would look good on the wall. You never know when inspiration will show up again.
Cheers!

I named one of my MIMs Alma. That was the name written under the neck when I took it off the body. I guess she's the one who assembled the guitar.
