Got this partcaster, 1999 american deluxe rosewood neck and highway one 2010 body (bought this for $375). I can't tell though if this is natural relic or not.

Any suggestions what and how should I mod this beauty?

What I would do:-

Clean down and refinish the vandalised body (it has been butchered not used) and put back a modern string tree on the neck.

Replace the plastics.

Why? Because relic guitars shouldn't have modern necks and tuners and the body is an abortion. And, either way, Strats have been around since the 1950's not 1850's.

Also, unless the body has been refinished once already it isn't a 2010 Highway One body as they had thin coat Nitro finishes.

I agree with John on all counts.
It's a hack job with inconsistencies not found in an official Relic.
Refurb to new and modern condition.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

LMFAO!

Looks like Billy Belt Sander and Ivan Ice Pick had their way with it.

Ditto.
Practically no wear on the elbow relief, TON of wear on the upper bout.
Unless maybe it belonged to Dolly Parton.....

Indeed. Otherwise that would take some pretty wild pick action to cause that sort of damage...even over 150 years.

And it is a mystery to me how a guitar would be worn behind the bridge like that. Perhaps it was carried in a badly fitting saddle bag and the leather chafed?

Spent too much time in a cheap stand?
Can't be... that one has obviously been played continually since 1850

Strip the body and stain it in whatever color you'd like. Coat it with TruOil to seal it in.

Then I'd change the covers or the knobs depending on which color you like best and make them match.

I agree with the string tree. Looks out of place.

When it comes to the wiring, I'd move the middle pickup to share tone with the neck and have the bridge on its own tone control.

This is also assuming the switch is a 5-way.
