Today I happen to stumble on another e 4 series usa strat also with a Floyd Rose nut and bridge , it must had been a craze back in the 80 s haven’t pulled it down to view the neck numbers etc , it also has the bob body going by measurements found and the blocky ness of the corners and finnish , pool route , I lifted the pick guard up and had a look , $300 bucks I couldn’t hold back plays ok but quite tinny sounding E base string so will be chasing down an 80 s bridge ,

I am not sure that the two bridges are interchangeable.

The Fender two point bridge is located by two set screws which go into two brass threaded ferrules in the body.

If you can see screw holes these may be two of six screw holes used on a vintage style trem.

It has two screw in screws that are for this year guitar , not the Ferrell inserts as the latter models had , screwed into the timber , it never had a 6 point bridge it looks like they used these for the Floyd , but I see searching they were the fender type screws for the bridge , a found bridge in uk is on its way , I don’t want to tear it apart at this stage till it gets here , the old owner brought it off a bloke in the 80s and had it all this time , played very well good neck , very low action as I like ,all’s good
