The pic in your link shows a Strat headstock with a "T + six digits" serial. Where's the "E"..?

And you can post pics on the forum, with the pic address (http ... jpg) and the IMG command. Like this:

HI!

I corrected the "T" on the tittle, i uploaded the pictures from my phone and i didn't know how to check if it worked or not, thanks for correct me :)

Do you think it's a real one? As far as i see the position of the decal seems correct but the lines in the wood i never saw it before so i have my doubts.

That is the trouble with wood. It comes from trees apparently and no two are ever the same.

I agree that it has some Ash like characteristics but seems to become more Maple like as it gets to the board. I certainly wouldn't discount the guitar purely for the grain looking like that on the headstock.

The topic title still says E-serial on my computer... 8)

Anyways, on that guitar. There's two periods when "made in Japan" had the T-serial; first in 1994-1995ish, then again in 2007-2010.
AFAIK, on the nineties T-period, the serial and country were always in the neck heel area.

So that would suggest the guitar is from the later T-period. It's not any "reissue" Strat, says that plastic truss rod plug.
The Frontline of 2006 doesn't give any help - the 025 (Japan) models are only Aerodynes. There is a chance Fender Japan made models for non-US market; like Europe, and those don't show in the Frontlines or US price lists.

BUT (there's always a big but), those trapezoid tuning machines point more to Squier than Fender. The serial is not recognized by Fender's database (checked the chat, too).
And that wood grain is typical for Squier Affinities - it's maple, but maybe from some Asian variant.

So, my guess is, it's a Squier Affinity, probably made in Indonesia, with a new sticker.

That's guessing, because no reliable ID'ing can be done based on a serial number and only one pic of a headstock.

Also i found in guitar project it comes from Fujigen 94-95...but it's only a serial number who can be easly be cheated.

I hope this pictures are enough to have an identity of the guitar. thank you!

+1

A reasoned deduction. Probably worth a couple hundred quid but not much more.

With those extra pics, I'm sure (as sure as can be without the guitar in hand) it's a Squier Affinity Stratocaster. Not so sure on Indonesia, could be Korean made, too.

Those kind of websites have no real records of guitars built, their info is based just on what Fender's serial numbers usually are. Plus there is the fake serial possibility you mentioned.
Like I wrote above, I checked this T-serial with Fender Product Registration Database, which turns out empty. And I checked with "Mike" on the support pages chat, no result even via his efforts.

BTW, @Arjay, very nice to see you back in active mode. :D
