My local shop only has the American 50's in stock & I love them.
I would like to know if the current Mexican Road Worn 50's have rolled, rounded edges on the fret board.

They certainly used to have as that was part of the whole Road Worn vibe and part of the reason for getting a Road Worn over a 50's lacquer.

+1

That was my observation as well. The few I played in stores several years back all had nice, "lived-in" fretboards. Very comfortable.

As has mine...but it wasn't new when I bought it.

I don't know if the current new ones have but, considering the extra you pay over a lacquer, I would hope this covers more than ten minutes of a man sanding the body corners, neck and dropping his keys on it a couple of times.

So the question is - Have the bean counters reduced the work that used to go into creating a Road Worn?

They aren't rolled, just has the finish removed/rubbed/sanded off.... So if you want to call that "rolled," by all means....

Well my neck was rounded on the edges and all the fret ends were really nicely dressed. I'm not sure what more you would want.
