Dear Forum members :)

I'd like to swap my Single coil bridge pickup with a more beefier sounding pickup (Humbucker). Will I be able to complete the conversion by just:
- Changing the pickguard
- Redoing the wiring

Or will I have to purchase new pots / switches?

Some information about the guitar:
Serial number states it's an FEND STD STRAT RW

A MIM Standard Stratocaster has a humbucker size routing for the bridge pickup, so basically: yes.
(A general note here: many MIM's - like the Classic series - have SSS routing, but it's easy to check by peeking under the pickguard.)
Here's one possibility, a Fender HSS diagram with 250K pots and a standard 5-way switch: MIM Standard Fat Stratocaster 0134700/4702

And a little further:
- Different manufacturers use different wire colors, so you need to check that with the diagram.
- Many prefer bigger value pots for a humbucker so they remain all their high end (500K is the more common with Fenders), so the end result with the 250-pot depends very much on your own likings.
- There are a million ways to wire a HSS, so think beforehand what you want & like. Tone control for the bridge, perhaps? (The forum members will help find a diagram if you can define your goal.)
- "Beefier" can be achieved many ways; even with just a passing lane type switch.
- Depending on your skills & experience (of which I know nothing about), using a pro is one option. At least be sure you can solder properly - it never hurts to practise.
